How can we bring our Adventist identity everywhere we go? Our global culture increasingly rejects the idea of absolute truth. Oftentimes, just having a different opinion can be viewed as an attack. In such an environment, it is a tough task to hold fast to our faith while not unnecessarily offending the very people we are called to reach in our professional lives.
Like Jesus, the Living Stone — rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to Him —Peter encourages us to be living stones in the face of rejection and let ourselves be used in building the spiritual temple (1 Peter 2:4-5). As AYPers, we watch, stand fast in the faith, and are brave and strong (I Corinthians 16:13). With brave hearts, may we bring our authentic selves everywhere we go.
