AYP has shown me that when young adults are invited to bring their full selves to the table, beautiful things happen. We don’t have to choose between deep faith and real connection - we were meant to have both.
AYP allows me to use my talents in a way that encourages others to come together and have fun for Jesus. AYP chapters provide a great way to get involved in your community.
AYP didn’t replace my church involvement. It reawakened my heart for it. It reminded me why I said yes to ministry in the first place. Why showing up still matters—even when it’s hard.
AYP has been a tremendous encouragement for my faith. I love that we gather to worship and pray for one another. The people I’ve met at AYP have inspired me in my walk with the Lord.
AYP has helped me see that every part of my life - career, creativity, relationships - can reflect God’s character. I’ve learned that when you show up with what you have, God meets you there and does more than you imagined.
AYP connected me to other churches that I could be a part of. If it weren't for them, I would not have met many of the Adventist young adults I now know.
AYP provides me with the opportunity to put my faith into action. It’s a place where I can be myself and do God's work. It’s God's church in action.
I’ve brought non-Adventist friends to AYP events. It isn’t just for us - it’s a way to witness, just by living authentically and loving well.
AYP creates a safe space for young adults to come and be themselves. It has presented me avenues for me to grow and become a better leader.
What started as ‘just another church group’ became the very thing I needed. AYP has grounded me. Encouraged me. Challenged me. And reminded me that I don’t walk this journey alone.
AYP has impacted not only in the ways that I'm able to practically live out the gospel, but also in how I share the gospel with others and create opportunities for them to be able to be part of this beautiful work.
Through AYP, you get to meet a lot of wonderful people, and you also get to evangelize and carry on the mission of God.
I graduated from college a year ago, and I've definitely been searching to have that Adventist community. Through AYP, I've been able to build valuable connections. It really has blessed me.
