Welcome to Brave Hearts

Welcome to our Brave Hearts Leadership Convention! We are looking forward to connecting with you and providing a rich, spiritual experience filled with dynamic speakers, vibrant musicians, deep breakout sessions, and rich fellowship. Our goal is that you are able to take away and integrate core leadership values and practical tools to help you grow in your life and leadership circles. At the end of this weekend, we hope that each of you will feel empowered on your spiritual journey with a deep desire to lead with brave hearts for Christ.

Presenters & Topics

Dr. MyRon Edmonds

Dr. MyRon Edmonds is the keynote speaker for the Brave Hearts Convention. He is regarded as one of the most fearless speakers and transformational leaders of his generation. He is a Leadership Coach and Organizational Consultant with more than 20 years of experience as a Consultant in Leadership Development with a variety of public and private organizations.
Dr. Edmonds completed a Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Andrews Theological Seminary with a concentration in Family Ministries; his dissertation deals with the role and absence of men as Spiritual Leaders. Dr. Edmonds serves as the founder for MyRon Edmonds Leadership Group’s Winning Circle, an accountability community for men who want to win in what matters in life, an is the author of the book, 40 Days to Life Changing Family Worship.

Reuben Covarrubias

Ruben Covarrubias is a husband, father, and Capacity Development Advisor. As a certified emotional intelligence coach, he implements EQ into coaching sessions leaders across industries. Covarrubias' sessions will explore the importance of EQ as a foundation for leadership growth and will discuss tools truly leads self and others.

Pierre Monice

Pierre Monice is a high energy, relational leader with a passion for inspiring people to reach high levels personally and professionally. He serves as the president of a large hospital in the Chicago area. Monice’s talks at Brave Hearts will explore leadership lessons from the life and ministry of Jesus and the strategies that helped guide his personal career from pastor to a hospital president.

Dr. Craig Foster

Dr. Craig Foster is a dentist and Christian motivational speaker with a strong conviction that all of his wins, losses, and experiences have filled him with messages of hope and encouragement that he loves to share with all people that he meets. During Brave Hearts, Foster will explore the concepts of leading on purpose through service and giving.

Victoria Okotie & Mildred Mabirizi

Victoria and Mildred are the co-founders of TorchPoint whose mission is to empower, inspire, and support Christian professionals in their spiritual growth to achieve fulfillment in their career and life journey. Their sessions at Brave Hearts will explore the enduring, transformational, and life-changing leadership lessons from Jesus in the Gospel of Mark and how to motivate those you lead!

Hotel Shuttle

Please call the Hilton Garden Inn at the Hurst Conference Center (817-281-5800) to request a shuttle from and to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Shuttle service to local destinations within a 5 mile radius of the hotel is also available on a first-come-first served basis.
