An Invitation from Grichelle Rivera Yee, AYP’s Miami Chapter Leader
For Grichelle Rivera Yee, Chapter Coordinator for Adventist Young Professionals (AYP) in Miami, leadership isn’t just a role—it’s a rewarding journey. “I have a great team of co-leaders who not only bring their professional experience to the table, but also bring their enthusiasm and love for God,” she shares. “It has been a joy serving with them.”
Grichelle’s passion for AYP stems from a desire to create meaningful connection. “What inspires me to volunteer with AYP is that it offers me a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of like-minded professionals who also want to connect, serve, and find community,” she says. “Together as a community, I feel that we can have a stronger impact to further God’s work.”
Her team is currently recruiting for a social-focused Events Coordinator, a vital role that blends fun with faith. “I envision this role as having a missional impact because everything we plan has the potential to foster spiritual connection and growth—not only within our AYP community but also outwards,” Grichelle explains. “When our members feel inspired, they naturally share that joy with others.”
If you’re in the Miami area and looking to plug into a Christ-centered young adult community, this is your invitation. Whether you’re new to AYP or ready to take a leadership step, there’s space for you to grow and serve.
