Through this partnership, AYP remains committed to empowering the next generation of Adventist innovators, entrepreneurs, and ministry leaders by fostering creativity and leadership within the young adult community.
“At AYP, we believe that young professionals are not just the future but also the present of our Church, said Tim Kosaka, president of AYP. “supporting the Andrews University Pitch Competition is one of the many ways we invest in the growth, innovation, and leadership of Adventist young adults. We are honored to be part of a platform that amplifies bold ideas and nurtures the next generation of changemakers.”
About the Andrews University Pitch Competition
The Andrews University Pitch Competition is an annual event that provides Andrews students—both undergraduate and graduate—with the opportunity to present their business, non-profit, ministry, and project ideas for a chance to receive funding and mentorship. With a total of $30,000 in cash grants and $10,000 in in-kind awards, the competition helps young innovators bring their ideas to life and make a meaningful impact in their fields.
The event features multiple rounds of judging, culminating in a live final round where the top seven teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and an audience. Past winners have developed initiatives spanning youth discipleship, environmental sustainability, faith-based media, and more.
AYP’s Commitment to Innovation and Leadership
AYP’s sponsorship of the Andrews University Pitch Competition aligns with its broader mission to equip young Adventists for leadership, discipleship, and professional growth. As an organization that serves over 12,000 young professionals worldwide, AYP actively provides mentorship programs, career development opportunities, mission projects, and leadership training to empower the next generation of Adventist professionals and ministry leaders.
This partnership is part of AYP’s ongoing commitment to investing in young talent, fostering a culture of innovation, and creating opportunities for Adventist young adults to thrive in their careers and callings
