"One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" (John 9:25)
What gets me in John 9 is how differently people responded to the same miracle. Some celebrated. Others argued. Others refused to believe what was right in front of them because it disrupted what they’d already decided was true.
Spiritual blindness isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it shows up as pride. As certainty. As the refusal to reconsider. You can be deeply religious and still resistant to transformation, and not even realize it.
The healed man didn’t have every theological answer. What he had was a real encounter with Jesus. There’s something freeing about simple, honest testimony. We make witnessing far more complicated than it needs to be.
Not every season requires having everything figured out. Sometimes faithfulness looks like honestly sharing what God has done.
