Jesus moved toward the place others routed around. He crossed social, cultural, and personal lines to meet one woman who probably expected another unremarkable day.

God keeps doing this. He meets people in the places they thought disqualified them. Shame convinces us to hide, to minimize, to stay partially known. But Jesus wasn’t afraid of this woman’s history. He wasn’t managing it. He was meeting her in it.

And then notice what happens. The woman who arrived isolated became someone inviting others to come meet Jesus. That’s not a small detail. A real encounter with God tends to overflow. It doesn’t stay contained.

We often assume God works best through polished people. But Scripture keeps showing Him working through honest ones.
