I think one of the hardest parts of modern life is the sheer amount of noise competing for your attention, opinions, pressure, comparison, fear, ambition. It’s easy to lose track of what God is actually saying versus what anxiety is saying. They can sound similar in the moment.

Recognizing God’s voice usually develops slowly through consistency and closeness, not through intensity. The more time you spend with Him, the easier it becomes to notice His character and direction.

One thing I’ve learned: God’s voice leads differently than fear does. Fear pushes. God leads. That distinction has helped me more times than I can count.
